Every aspect of the TravelMate Vero is designed to minimise its environmental impact as much as possible. This includes a chassis with 30% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic, keyboard keys with 50% PCR plastic, no harmful paints of dies on the chassis and easily access to the components to aid reparability & upgradeability.
The packaging is also sustainably designed, with plastic bags swapped out for paper sleeves and recycled plastic, cardboard & paper throughout.

Acer Commercial BIOS
The TravelMate Vero features Acer’s Commercial BIOS solution, which offers a range of business-friendly functions including the ability to lock the BIOS to prevent updates as well as the option to roll it back. There are also tools to allow you to easily update the BIOS when using non-Windows platforms and even the option to customise the boot graphics with your own logo.
