In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.

Comet Electricals Limited may on occasions pass your Personal Information to third parties exclusively to process work on its behalf. Comet Electricals Limited requires these parties to agree to process this information based on our instructions and requirements consistent with this Privacy Notice and the General Data Protection Regulation.

Retention policy

Comet Electricals Limited will process personal data during the duration of any contract and will continue to store only the personal data needed for up to six years after the contract has expired to meet any legal obligations. After this period any personal data not needed will be deleted.

Data is held in the United Kingdom using approaches which include paper and/or IT systems. These are all managed to the required level of information security. Comet Electricals Limited does not store personal data outside the EEA.

To access what personal data is held, identification will be required

Comet Electricals Limited will accept the following forms of ID when information on your personal data is requested: a copy of your national ID card, driving license, passport, birth certificate and a utility bill not older than three months. A minimum of one piece of photographic ID listed above and a supporting document is required. If Comet Electricals Limited is dissatisfied with the quality, further information may be sought before personal data can be released.

Complaints

In the event that you wish to make a compliant about how your personal data is being processed by Comet Electricals Limited or its partners, you have the right to complain to Comet Electricals Limited Company Secretary.
